Travel Channel, in association with Rand McNally and USA TODAY, announced yesterday that they will premiere a one-hour “Best of the Road” TV special on Wednesday, July 25 at 8:00 P.M. ET/PT. The show - produced by CBS Eye Too Productions - will take viewers to the front lines of this (2nd) annual Rand McNally adventure in which five road-tripping teams travel from Washington, D.C. to Seattle, WA, in search of the Best Small Towns in America. Travel Channel host and resident fun-seeker, Bert Kreischer ("Trip Flip") will serve as host and help facilitate the judging at the end of the road trip.
